Over the years, I have fulfilled the roles of appraiser, builder, investor, realtor, processor, underwriter, closer, originator, and head of mortgage lending. Having this level of empathy with all of the parties to your transaction, gives you an edge in bringing us to the closing table successfully.
I was drawn to the mortgage industry initially by that inexplicable passion that we all have as we begin our careers. My passion was homes. So starting out as a real estate appraiser was a natural fit. Having appraised for a community focused bank and interacting with the homeowners and their realtors led that passion to shift 28 years ago from the physical asset to the homeowner and I have never looked back.
Trust is the key to our relationship. I will be asking about facets of your life that are not normally fodder for conversations. Respect for your privacy is paramount. The plan that we devise in many cases is quite simple, but can be complex. I will be sure that you understand the reasoning and details.
